Mahajana PU College is one of the premier colleges in the city of Mysore, dedicated to serving the young generation of students for four decades   towards the goal of excellent education, with qualified and committed faculty.

The Mahajana Pre-University College was established  in the year 1971-72, when the State of Karnataka opted for the two year pattern, for the pre-university course. To mark the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Educational Society.  The college got its present name S.B.R.R Mahajana PU College, with the munificent contribution from the donor Smt. Bhagyalakshmamma, wife of Sri Rattehalli Rammappa, towards the growth of the Institution.

The college is situated in the heart of the city, with an easy access to public transport. The college has a clean, green and spacious quadrangle, well ventilated spacious class rooms, with limited number of students in each class in order to provide individual  attention.

SBRR Mahajana PU college has contributed to the cause of education by bringing out the best students since 45 years.  Our Alumni group extends to thousands of Engineers , Doctors, Chartered accountants, Entrepreneurs, CEOs Technocrats , Academicians, Artists  spread all over the globe.  Some of the names to reckon are
